No, the great thing is, when you place an order with us you automatically become a member.
Am I really saving when buying from WEB CELLARS?
Yes, absolutely. One of the key differences with our store is that we’ve got a huge range of wines, spirits and beers, which you won’t always find in your local bottle shop, even a big one. Because we don’t have retail stores in prominent locations our operating costs are much lower and we pass those savings on to you.
Do your customer service specialists really know about wine and liquor?
You bet they do! We only hire staff that are passionate about what we sell and how we sell it. Our staff go through extensive training and have dedicated time each week to spend on improving their product knowledge. They learn about the origins of the products, the processes involved in making the different products and how differences in the process effect the end product, compatibility with food and more. You can be sure when you talk to our customer service specialists they will have answers to your questions and if they don’t know, they will find out.
What’s the story with freight charges?
We ship products from suppliers to our warehouse in Adelaide and from there straight to your door. Obviously there are freight costs involved. However, unlike many others who often build the freight charge into the cost of the product, we keep the freight charges separate, as often our customers buy in quantities and this enables to consolidate the freight, which results in lower deliver cost.
Is there a minimum order?
No. You can buy as little or as much as you want and we’ll only send you what you’ve ordered.
Can’t I just buy the same stuff from my local bottle shop and not pay delivery fees?
Yes and no. You should be able to find most of the popular brands we sell in your local bottle shop, but you will usually end up paying more at your local bottle shop as they needs to pay for their premises in a prominent location, and we do not. Also, you won’t find the same range in your local bottle shop, so in many cases if you’re looking for something specific, buying from your local bottle shop will not be an option.
How long will it take to process my order?
You order is processed either on the same day or following day of you placing your order, depending on the time your order was placed. You should generally receive your order within 5 business days, but we always strive to minimize the delivery time.
